Okay - I have seen I AM LEGEND and I liked it. I love NYC as a setting for 'the end of man' scenarios - the film does a nice job depicting Manhattan as a deserted plague zone with plastic wrapped highrises and decaying biological hazard warnings. Neville rummaging through abandoned apartments cluttered with the field expedient anti-plague supplies (drugs, antiseptics, bottled water, plastic sheeting) perfectly captures the claustrophobia of a desperate 'shelter in place' attempt to ride out the virus. The happy ending - so what?!
